Facilities at Lawn Community Centre

We have a choice of facilities suitable for a wide range of leisure and community activities.

We offer a flexible pricing scheme for all our customers. Online booking requests will receive a quotation via email, or you can contact the The Centre Office and leave a message.

Main Hall

Capacity: 80 people
Pricing: £9.00-£26.40 per hour

Ground Floor (13.80m x 8.00m)
Capacity for up to 70 dancers on polished wood floor. Sufficient chairs, tables and  banquet facilities for up to 80 people.
Seating capacity 80.
Room has Air-conditioning, Fresh-air system, Public address microphones with a hearing loop. There is an over-head Projector with screen for showing TV, DVD, films and for presentations from hirers own laptops. There is also a full-area sound system available.
A large commercial kitchen is included with hire at no extra charge.

Room 1

Capacity: 40 people
Pricing: £4.60-£14.00 per hour

On the Ground Floor (8.00m x 7.00m)

This  room is suitable for medium-sized meetings and gatherings of up to 40 people depending on the activity.
There is a kitchenette with sink, water boiler, refrigerator and extraction fan.
Room has air-conditioning and dimmable lighting.
Small Gopak Tables are available, as is a White board; also a Screen for when a presentation requires use a portable projector; available from the Reception Office.
There is also a small CD/radio player.


 

Room 2

Capacity: 50 people
Pricing: £4.60-£14.00 per hour

On the Upper Floor (8.00m x 4.00m + 5.65m x 4.50m) accessible via stairs or lift.

This is an L-shaped room with a Kitchenette comprising sink, hot-water boiler and a refrigerator.
It is suitable for parties or bigger meetings for up to 50 people.
A concertina-type wooden door may be used to divide the room into two separate rooms each with their own access doors, if required.
Small or large Gopak Tables, a White board; also a pull-down screen for use with a portable Projector; available from the Reception Office (if booked in advance) This could be used for a presentation from a hirer's own computer.
This room has air-conditioning installed. 

Room 3

Capacity: 12 people
Pricing: £3.40-£7.20 per hour

On the Upper Floor (4.53m x 3.80m) accessible via stairs or lift
 
This  is a small meeting room, seating 10/12 people.
Small or Large Gopak tables available as required.
A white board is also available
